TFL confirms huge cyber attack saw hackers get customers’ names and bank details

Transport for London has confirmed a huge cyber attack on its computer system with customers names and addresses released.

TfL has been investigating the incident, which was identified on September 1, alongside the National Crime Agency and said some customer names and contact details had been compromised.

Some Oyster card refund data, which could include bank account details, may also have been accessed in the cyber attack.
