Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) was the guest on Friday’s episode of The View, and he had some debate advice for Vice President Kamala Harris: don’t underestimate her opponent, former President Donald Trump.
Whether it was a political strategy to raise the expectations for Harris’s opponent ahead of their September 10 debate or simply a warning, Shapiro — who came very close to being Harris’s running mate — told the co-hosts of The View that it would serve Harris well to be ready to go up against a “skilled debater”:
