Currently, the National Weather Service has just issued a tornado warning for Washington, D.C. The Tornado warning has been Radar indicated as a thunderstorm in the area is capable of producing a tornado.
Residents in the affected area should seek immediate shelter in a basement or an interior room without windows, away from doors and exterior walls.
