Counter-terror police urgently probing Taylor Swift risk ahead of pop star’s UK concerts

British counter-terror officers are urgently probing intelligence after a London Bridge-style plot to attack a Vienna Taylor Swift concert was thwarted.

A 19-year-old and a 17-year-old have been arrested in Austria and Swift’s Vienna dates dramatically cancelled because of the threat. Chemical substances have been found at the home of the Austrian teenager suspected of planning the Islamic State-related attack in Vienna. There are reports at least one of the plotters had tried to get a job as a security guard during the musical event.

Swift is set to perform a series of concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium on August 15, 16, 17, 19 and 20.
