Multiple people stabbed near Chancellery in Berlin, Germany

Currently, emergency services with numerous ambulances are on scene after at least four people were injured in a stabbing incident in the Spreebogenpark on the Gustav-Heinemann-Brücke near Chancellery in Berlin, Germany on Sunday night.

The men had apparently got into a fight, which then escalated. Initial findings suggest three men were seriously injured, they were first cared for on site by emergency doctors and came to the hospital with stab wounds. One person suffered a shock.

Police taken a suspect in custody in the vicinity of the main railway station, directly on the other side of the spree.

The background is still unclear and the police are investigating, according to German tabloid newspaper BILD.
