FIVE people shot outside gas station in Dallas, Texas

DALLAS — Five people were shot and taken to the hospital after an overnight shooting outside of a Texaco gas station in southern Dallas, police said Saturday.

The Dallas Police Department (DPD) said officers responded at approximately 4:30 a.m. Saturday to the 100 block of West Laureland Road for a shooting call. When officers got to the scene, they found five people had been shot outside of a business, police said. DPD had crime scene tape around the Texaco gas station in that area, which is located at the corner of I-35E frontage road and Laureland Road.
