VIDEO: “Disorder” in Harehills, UK, police car overturned and attacked

Currently, police are dealing with a public disorder in Harehills, a suburb of Leeds, England. Police were called to reports of a disturbance at an address in Luxor Street at around 5 p.m. Footage circulating online shows large crowds of people in the street, smashing a police car with officers inside by punching windows and throwing objects at it including a scooter before flipping it over.
Fires have also started in the Harehills area, according to apparent footage on scene. Additional officers had been sent to the area to ‘assist with the management of this incident’, Police have reported that there are no injuries, though unconfirmed reports suggest a child was injured and taken to the hospital. Unconfirmed reports have been circulating that the disorder comes after social services reportedly took children into care. VIDEO:
