Update via DCHA: “ A D.C. Housing Authority police officer was shot in the torso at approximately 5:45 a.m. today while patrolling the Carroll Apartments at 410 M Street SE in the Navy Yard area as part of DCHA PD’s regular patrol. The officer was transported to an area hospital. DCHA can confirm the officer involved is in stable condition and alert.
OFFICER SHOT IN DC: 400 block of M St SE in Navy Yard DC— shots were fired at police, resulting in a Housing Authority police officer being shot & taken to a hospital in the back of a police cruiser. His condition is unknown at the moment.
