An avalanche has hit the Apharwat slopes on the first phase of Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir. According to ABP News sources, at least one skier has died and another has sustained injuries. Seven skiers, including foreign tourists, have gone missing following the avalanche. Rescue operations are underway and two of the missing skiers have been rescued. Teams of 18RR, HAWS, and the local police team have reached the spot.
