ATLANTA – A 19-year-old man is dead, and two others were injured in what Atlanta police are calling a targeted shooting in the 300 block of Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard SW.
Officers responded to the scene shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Windsor Street SW.
Three people were found, all with gunshot wounds, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
One person was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition. That person later died.
The other two were awake and speaking to officers as they were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The names of those who were shot have not been released.
Detectives with the APD Homicide Unit were still piecing together what led to the shooting and a description of the shooter.
