Southwest Bakersfield police shooting leaves one injured

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield Police responded to an officer-involved shooting Sunday evening in southwest Bakersfield, leaving one person injured.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of Manning Street around 7:50 p.m.

No officers were injured in the shooting.

It is unclear what led to the incident or the current condition of the person injured in the shooting.

The area of Ming Avenue and Manning Street is closed as officers conduct an investigation
