Did Dior replace Bella Hadid after her comment on the Hamas-Israel conflict?

Users on social media are sharing claims that Luxury fashion house #Dior has dropped the supermodel Bella #Hadid following her latest remarks on the #Israel-#Hamas conflict where she posted a message in support of the Palestinians. Users also claimed that she was replaced with Israeli model May Tager.

Hadid’s contract with Dior ended in March 2022, prior to the recent conflict, according to AP. Moreover, while May Tager is one of the models appearing in Dior’s current holiday campaign, she also made an appearance in last year’s campaign.

Bella Hadid, whose father is #Palestinian has repeatedly leveled criticism at the Israeli government and supported #Palestinians throughout the years. Her latest statement on Oct. 23 lamented the loss of civilian life in Gaza and called her followers to put pressure on leaders to end #civilian bloodshed. Social media users tried to link that with the fact that Dior has released its new holiday campaign without Hadid a few days later. However, there is no evidence that support these claims.
