Three people have been shot and killed in the 600 block of Evans Street in Southwest Atlanta near The Mall West End. Atlanta Police homicide detectives are on scene. The address given is near UniTea and Coffee.
Authorities are currently probing a fatal shooting in southwest Atlanta that claimed the lives of at least three individuals.
Around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, officers received a call and responded to Evans Street, which is in close proximity to various businesses.
Notably, this location seems to be situated opposite The Mall West End, a shopping center, across Ralph David Abernathy Blvd.
Detectives report that multiple individuals sustained gunshot wounds, with three confirmed fatalities. It remains uncertain if additional individuals were injured.
According to a source, the bodies were discovered along Evans Street. It seems they may have been shot, as they appeared to have fled before collapsing in various locations.
Authorities have not disclosed any information regarding the events leading up to the shooting, and there is currently no information on potential suspects.
