Eric Ammon Cheney: Utah County authorities have identified the 19-year-old man who was killed in a home explosion

ELK RIDGE, Utah County — One man was killed in a home explosion in southern Utah County on Friday.

The incident happened near 300 Elk Ridge Drive, close to the Gladstan Golf Course, just before 4 p.m.

The Utah County Sheriff’s Office said a 19-year-old man, identified Saturday as Eric Ammon Cheney, was found dead as a result of the explosion.
