Fire quickly extinguished in wall of Albany apartment building

Firefighters in Albany made quick work of a fire Friday evening. Crews were called to 1114 Broadway near Mohawk Street around 8:45 p.m.

Fire response and evacuations

The building is a 2 1/2-story wood-framed building. They say fire was found in the wall of a first-floor apartment.

The fire was under control in about 25 minutes. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
