Two who died in wrong-way crash on I-680 are identified

A wrong-way head-on freeway crash last month suspected to have been caused by driving under the influence killed two San Diego residents, authorities said. The two died at the scene after the Oct. 19 wreck on northbound Interstate 680.

The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office late Wednesday identified the two as 30-year-old Isamar Soto and 29-year-old Carlos Mejia.
