Woman Injured as Car Collides With U-Bahn Train in Oberursel, Germany

A 21-year-old woman suffered minor injuries when her car collided with a passing U-Bahn train at a railway crossing in Oberursel, Germany, police reported Sunday.

The crash happened at about 6:37 p.m. Saturday, October 31, at the crossing without barriers on Zimmersmühlenweg.

Police said the woman had stopped at the crossing before her car rolled forward for an unexplained reason and struck the train.

The car was a total loss. Preliminary findings indicated minor damage to the train, with overall damage estimated at €26,000.
