Woman in Her 80s Killed After Being Struck by Car in Markham, Canada

A woman in her 80s died after being struck by a car in Markham, Ontario, on Saturday, October 31, according to York Regional Police.

Emergency crews responded to the area of 16th Avenue and Markham Road just after 5:30 p.m. Police told 680 NewsRadio that the woman was pronounced dead.

The driver remained at the scene.
