Man charged with causing death of passenger in Purleigh crash

A driver has been charged with causing the death of his passenger following a crash earlier this year. Henry Barnes, 23, of Harrison Close, Brentwood, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and drink driving.

Thomas Chapman, 21, from Brentwood, was a passenger in the car when it crashed in Hackmans Lane, Purleigh, at about 02:00 GMT on 6 January.
