Drone Activity Disrupts Jersey Airport as Incoming Flights Are Diverted

Unauthorised drone activity disrupted flights at Jersey Airport in St. Peter on Friday evening, October 30, according to States of Jersey Police.

Incoming flights from London Gatwick, London Heathrow and Southampton were diverted, Channel 103 reported.

The broadcaster said the airport was staying open later and that flights required a 30-minute period without drone activity before operations could resume.

One passenger told Channel 103 their aircraft returned to Gatwick and refuelled after being unable to land in Jersey.
