Feds arrest 14 noncitizens after seeking Oregon jail records
Attorney Scott Bradford announced the arrests in a news release Friday, saying the people had been released from local custody despite immigration detainer requests from U.S. The arrests stem from petitions federal prosecutors filed in late 2025 and mid-2026 seeking records from Clackamas, Marion, Multnomah, and Washington counties.
The federal government claimed the individuals had past convictions for violent offenses, including manslaughter, rape, and assault.
