Nashville, Tennessee mayor addresses Nashville Fire Department accountability after resignations

Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell said he expects accountability and appropriate retraining within the Nashville Fire Department after reporters asked about recent personnel issues. O’Connell did not confirm the report’s allegations but did say he spoke with NFD Chief Swan directly.

A question at the mayor's roundtable on Friday referenced three firefighters who resigned and a police report that may indicate they drank alcohol while on duty.
