Cal Fire lifts burn permit suspension Nov. 1

Agriculture burns must be inspected by Cal Fire prior to burning until the end of the peak fire season. This can be verified by contacting the Northern Sierra Air Quality Management District, Plumas County’s local air quality district.

Inspections may be required for burns other than agriculture burns, said Cal Fire.
