Lauren Bennett Death: Kent Inquest Finds ‘Party Rock Anthem’ Singer Died by Suicide

Singer Lauren Bennett, who featured on LMFAO’s international hit “Party Rock Anthem,” died by suicide, an inquest in Maidstone, Kent, heard on Friday, October 30, according to the supplied report.
Bennett, 36, was found in woodland near her home in Meopham on May 29 after leaving for a morning walk. Her husband, Kenny Wormald, and her father searched for her when she did not return.
Kent and Medway Coroners’ Court heard that Bennett had experienced a mental health crisis in January and was receiving specialist care. Assistant coroner Jyoti Gill concluded that she had died by suicide.
Bennett rose to prominence with Paradiso Girls before featuring alongside LMFAO and GoonRock on the 2011 chart-topper “Party Rock Anthem.” She later joined G.R.L.
Her father, Richard Bennett, recalled her music career and her move to the United States after signing a record deal at 17.
