Gunman Kills Suspected Turkish Gang Leader Inside Spanish Hospital

Mekin Büyükdeniz was killed at Joan XXIII Hospital, where he had been receiving treatment following an earlier assassination attempt, El Caso reports. The shooting came just days after Büyükdeniz was wounded in an armed attack in the nearby city of Salou.

An unidentified gunman wearing a bicycle helmet and a hood entered the hospital, made his way into Büyükdeniz’s room, opened fire and fled the scene.
