Pentagon Investigating Base Freezer Failures as Suspected Cyberattack | SOFX

The Pentagon is investigating whether hackers caused refrigeration systems at commissaries on at least six U.S. military bases to malfunction. Investigators have not confirmed the cause of the U.S. failures or whether hackers exploited vulnerabilities in refrigeration controllers, including equipment made by Danish company Danfoss.

U.S. military investigators are coordinating with French law enforcement over a similar incident that disrupted refrigeration systems at more than 350 establishments in France in October.
