LA Council President Harris-Dawson Faces Recall Attempt

A petition to recall City Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson was underway Thursday after being approved for circulation. Proponents of the petition must gather 21,569 valid signatures of qualified registered voters, who reside in the CD8.

The Los Angeles City Clerk announced that a draft petition was filed and approved Wednesday for circulation to recall Harris-Dawson, who represents the Eighth Council District.
