Valdosta Fire Department launches community safety initiative following recent tragedies

Fires can be unpredictable and affect any household, often starting in a matter of seconds, the VFD said in a press release. To support the community, the Valdosta Fire Department is launching a free home safety program.

They can spark from the least expected, everyday things like home appliances, electronic devices, cooking equipment, or common electrical systems.
