AIA calls for halt to Trump’s D.C. arch, and files court papers

The American Institute of Architects has called for construction to halt on the controversial Triumphal Arch in Washington, D.C., spearheaded by President Donald Trump. “The monuments of Washington, D.C., carry meaning far beyond any individual project,” said AIA President Illya Azaroff.

The organization has joined several groups in asking for a federal court to halt the project.
