False 911 call prompts evacuation at Valdosta apartments; no injuries reported

Wednesday, numerous officers with the Valdosta Police Department responded to Castlewood Apartments at 700 E. The area was evacuated as officers attempted to make contact with possible occupants inside an apartment.

Park Ave. for the reported shooting and possible hostage situation. Police later determined the call was a false report and that no citizen was injured.
