During Jefferson visit, Acton hears concerns over school funding

Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton met with local school officials Friday, Oct. For Jefferson Area Local Schools Superintendent Jeremy Huber, the financial outlook is increasingly difficult to manage.

Acton said public schools have been a concern because of the role education played in her own life. The district has qualified for free lunch for all students, while projected budget deficits are making long-term planning more difficult.
