Sikeston man indicted on 9 new charges in wife’s 2025 shooting death

A Sikeston man now faces nine new criminal charges in a case stemming from the 2025 shooting death of his wife. Perrien already faced second-degree murder, harassment, assault and tampering charges related to the June 2025 shooting death of his 31-year-old wife, Shelby.

In another incident, between November 2023 and November 2025, Perrien allegedly threw a knife toward one of the children.
