Teen suspect sentenced to 40 years in prison in connection with deadly METRO shooting in W. Houston, Texas

14, Brayden Smith, a former student at Elsik High School, pleaded guilty to the shooting death of 25-year-old Caitlin Stup, TDCJ said. Both suspects fled the scene at the time of the incident.

Authorities described Stup as an innocent bystander. Authorities released surveillance images the next day, before Smith and Scott were arrested.
