Mountain Brook welcomes new fire chief as 30-year veteran passes the torch

Adam Bomar was appointed Mountain Brook's new fire chief Monday, succeeding Chris Mullins, who is retiring after 30 years with the city's Fire Department. For Mullins, the occasion was emotional.

The leadership transition was celebrated during Monday night's City Council meeting, where Mullins was honored for his service and Bomar took the oath of office.
