Heathrow Airport Trains Disrupted in London After Emergency Incident; Lines Reopen

Rail services between London Paddington, Heathrow Airport and Reading suffered cancellations and delays on Tuesday, October 27, following an emergency incident.
National Rail said all lines had reopened after emergency services completed their work. However, trains could still be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 45 minutes as services recovered.
Affected routes included Heathrow Express services between Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 5, all Great Western Railway routes to and from Paddington, and several Elizabeth line services.
Elizabeth line disruption affected connections to Heathrow Terminals 4 and 5, Maidenhead and Reading. National Rail’s update also said trains would not serve Hanwell and West Ealing stations.
The notice estimated major disruption would continue until noon.
