Hawaii braces for tropical soaking as days of heavy rain threaten flooding

The moisture is embedded within a broad, active tropical conveyor that is drawing a deep reservoir of tropical moisture north toward Hawaii. The wet weather will drench the majority of the state, with the heaviest rainfall occurring in Oahu and surrounding islands.

So far this week, over 5 inches of rain has been reported across the Hawaiian Islands, according to the FOX Forecast Center.
