High Tides Flood Coastal Communities Ahead of Rainy Halloween Weekend

High tides flooded coastal communities again in Los Angeles and Orange counties Wednesday as coastal flood alerts were extended through Friday. The tide peaked at about 10:22 a.m., and water reached shin- to knee-deep levels in some spots.

In Orange County’s Sunset Beach neighborhood, floodwater spilled into streets near Pacific Coast Highway and Park Street.
