M3.5 earthquake strikes near Taupo

A magnitude 3.5 earthquake was recorded near Taupo at 2026-10-29 11:13 NZDT, according to European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). The earthquake was measured at a depth of about 151.6 km. The epicenter was approximately 32 km from Taupo.
