Detectives have appealed for witnesses and footage after a man was beaten with iron bars and shot in the leg at a house in Ballymoney, Northern Ireland, early Tuesday, October 27.

The men struck the victim on the head and arms before shooting him. They fled in a Toyota Yaris, which was later found burnt out on Burnquarter Road.

Police and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service personnel attended, and the man was taken to hospital. Three other people inside the house were uninjured but badly shaken.

Detectives urged anyone who saw suspicious activity or has CCTV, doorbell or other relevant footage to contact police on 101, quoting reference 21 of 27/10/26, or use the PSNI witness appeal form.
