Illegal moonshine distillery seized, man charged after NC explosion

A man is facing multiple charges after an illegal moonshine distillery exploded in Wilkes County on Monday, Oct. They seized approximately 1,800 gallons of mash, a substance used to make moonshine, and 161 gallons of moonshine.

Agents said they found a 200-gallon illegal distillery at the scene.
