City of Nixa, Mo., moves to fix school zone signs that don’t match city code

City Attorney Kara Wacker said a citizen brought the issue to the city’s attention. Wacker said officials found about half of them were not in compliance with the existing ordinance.

That prompted the city to review school zone signs across Nixa. In some cases, the signs were off by about a dozen feet.
