Zachary Beauchene Among Two Workers Burned in Plainfield, Connecticut, Steam Incident

Zachary Beauchene, 26, was airlifted to hospital after an accidental steam discharge at the Griswold Products Facility, police said.

Richard Pepin, 64, also suffered burns and was later discharged.

The employees were working on a condenser pump when the incident occurred. OSHA and Connecticut’s Office of the State Building Inspector took over the investigation.
