United flight returns to Las Vegas over ‘potential security concern,’ officials say

A United Airlines flight headed to Newark returned to Harry Reid International Airport Saturday night after the crew reported a passenger disturbance. The FAA said in a preliminary statement the flight returned safely and that the FAA will investigate.

LAS said the plane turned around shortly after takeoff, and referred further questions to United and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
