At least 47 Ethiopian Orthodox Christians were killed in attacks across rural communities in Shirka district, in Ethiopia’s Oromia region, according to a report published by Borkena on October 24.

The outlet, citing local families and sources, reported that armed groups attacked homes in several communities, burning residences and looting property.
