Woodland Joint Unified School District transportation team focuses on student safety

Operating its own school transportation department allows WJUSD to provide transportation services that support students and families across the district. Safety is central to the department’s work.

Each year, the team travels more than 500,000 miles transporting students to and from school, as well as to field trips and special programs.
