Foley Leaders Move To Update Local Flood Regulations

(OBA) —  Foley continues to improve city regulations to protect local property from flooding. The Foley City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance to strengthen flood-prevention regulations.

Municipal officials are working to strengthen community construction guidelines to keep local properties safe during major weather events. The council is scheduled to hold a second reading and vote on final passage in November 2026.
