Winchester, Illinois school officials explain referendum on November ballot

With a little more than a week until election day, officials at Winchester CUSD #1 are explaining a referendum that will be on the upcoming ballot. Since then they have been without a gym, forcing kindergarten through eighth-grade students to have physical education classes outside whenever possible.

In January, the school’s gym was found to have structural damage and was later demolished.
