Flood rescues prompt new training

Two years after Hurricane Helene triggered dangerous flash flooding across Buckingham County and the region, local emergency responders are better equipped to handle similar disasters. With limited equipment and personnel available locally, Buckingham requested assistance from neighboring rescue teams.
