Severe thunderstorm watch issued for New Mexico

Albuquerque and Santa Fe are included in the watch area. Some storms could produce hail up to 3 inches in diameter.

Large hail and damaging winds are the main concerns with thunderstorms that develop in and around the watch area. Isolated tornadoes are also possible with any storm that develops.
