Former school district employee convicted of capital sex battery in Putnam County

Investigators say the family was undocumented and reported the abuse despite fears of deportation. Prior to that, he worked in adult education providing classes for migrant workers beginning in 1998.

Del Castillo Espana was retired from the Putnam County School District, where he worked as an ESOL coordinator from 2002 – 2015.
